Creating your JobScout account is pretty straightforward, but there are a few key steps to avoid common snags. First, head over to our homepage (jobscout-career.com or other entry points). Find the Register button, usually at the top right, and click it.

You’ll need to fill out your email, password, full name, and location. The location info is important because our AI matching system uses it heavily to find relevant jobs near you or remote options. Avoid vague locations like “Earth”—be specific.

After submitting, check your email for a verification message. Sometimes it ends up in spam, so keep an eye there if it doesn’t arrive in a couple of minutes. Clicking the verification link activates your account and kicks off the AI matching process.

Setting Up Your Profile to Get Matched Better

Once you’re verified, it’s time to make your profile stand out. From our experience, the more complete your info, the better the matches.

Start by uploading your resume. We accept most formats, but keep it ATS-friendly: simple fonts, no heavy graphics, and clear formatting. You can upload multiple resumes if you’re targeting different roles.

Next, fill out your preferences. Be honest and specific about locations (remote, hybrid, specific cities), salary expectations, job types, company sizes, and industries you want to work in. This makes a huge difference in matching quality.
